Massage is a proven form of prevention and treatment for disorders of the locomotory system. The various different massage techniques and methods of medicinal massage are adapted to the actual complaints and the personal requirements of my clients.
Swedish massage involves the use of hands with the following basic techniques: effleurage, petrissage, friction, vibration, and tapotement. The benefits include increased blood circulation, mental and physical relaxation, decreased stress and muscle tension and regulates the autonomic nervous system.
Foot reflexology massage
Zones of the feet are treated with a special grip technique. This has a regulating and harmonising effect on the organs and various bodily systems.
Connective tissue massage
Connective tissue massage is a form of reflexology massage. Changes and weaknesses in the organs affect the connective tissue. By applying deep stroking to the skin, it reaches the connective tissue underneath and triggers the organs to activate their self-healing function.
Dorn therapy is a form of dynamic spine therapy. The therapist primarily mobilises and treats the vertebrae (the individual bones of the spine) and moves them back to their correct position. Dorn therapy alsos includes the dynamic treatment of joints such as the knee and hip.
Lymphatic drainage uses special grip techniques, which are generally found to be very pleasant. By draining abnormal water accumulation in the tissue, it improves the functioning of the lymphatic system.
